30.03.2010 17:20:41 Американская группа The Black Keys, играющая блюз-рок, образовалась в Акроне штат Огайо в 2001 году. The Black Eyes состоит всего из двух участников – гитариста и вокалиста Дэна Ауэрбаха и барабанщика Патрика Керни, но это ничуть не мешает им создавать отличный сочный звук. Творческий путь команды, как и у многих, начался с андеграундной сцены в своем городе, поскольку быстровозводимые здания в те годы не строили. Их первый альбом The Big Come Up, записанный в 2002 году имел успех и парни решили не останавливаться на достигнутом. В 2003 году вышел "Thickfreakness", записанный точно также, как и дебютный на простом кассетнике Патрика Карни. Песня Set You Free с этого альбома стала саундтреком аж в двух фильмах. Первым из них был фильм «Школа рока», главную роль в котором исполнил неподражаемый Джек Блэк, а вторым фильмом стал «Люблю тебя, чувак». В начале 2004 года группа начала запись своего третьего по счету альбома. А так как записывались на заброшенной фабрике, соответственно и альбом окрестили Rubber Factory. Именно благодаря второму и третьему альбому группа стала весьма популярной. The Black Keys играли на одной сцене с такими небезызвестными командами, как Radiohead, Pearl Jam, и Sleater-Kinney. В 2005 году вышел первый live-альбом музыкантов. Его записали в Сиднее в The Metro Theathre. Еще через год вышел второй живой альбом Live in Austin, TX (2006), а еще немного позже, в этом же году свет увидела четвертая студийная пластинка Magic Potion, на этот раз записанная не в домашних условиях, а на студии Nonesuch Records. И вновь их песня оказалась саундреком. Композиция Your Touch была использована в фильме «Добро пожаловать в Зомбилэнд», а композиция Just Got To Be - в игре NHL 08. В 2008 году дискография The Black Keys пополнилась пятым студийным альбомом, названным Attack & Release, а песня I Got Mine с этого альбома оказалась поставлена журналом Rolling Stone  на 23 место среди самых лучших песен 2008 года. Также этот год принес группе еще один живой альбом Live at the Crystal Ballroom (2008). Запись происходила в Портленде. И, наконец, в 2010 году вышел «The Brothers», конечно же отличающийся густым, насыщенным звучанием. Музыка The Black Keys отличается оригинальностью и яркостью. Этот дуэт не боится экспериментов, постоянно реализуя свежие и смелые идеи, которые очень органично вписываются в их композиции.
